Construction & craft house · Abuja, Nigeria

The finish is the foundation.

We build, and we finish what we build. Joinery, terrazzo, brass and lime under one roof, so the last coat is planned with the first pour.

Why we exist

Most builders hand over when the walls are up. We start there.

In Abuja it is easy to find someone who will pour a slab and someone else who will make a door. It is hard to find one house that takes responsibility for both, and for the seam between them.

Amazeno was set up to be that house. The structural team and the workshop share drawings, share a programme, and share a name on the finished building. When the skirting meets the screed, nobody is pointing at anybody else.

Three disciplines, one house

Build. Craft. Manage.

Most Nigerian contractors do one of these. Our registration names all three, and we keep all three in-house.

Build

New-build residences, commercial fit-outs and structural renovation. We run the site, hold the programme and carry the risk, from setting-out to the last snag.

  • Main contracting & project management
  • Renovation, extension and structural repair
  • Commercial and hospitality fit-out
How we run a build

Craft

The differentiator. Joinery, metalwork, masonry and bespoke finishes made by our own hands, for the building they will live in — not handed to a subcontractor at the end.

  • Bespoke joinery, doors, screens and kitchens
  • Terrazzo, screed and stone floors
  • Brass, limewash and laterite finishes
Inside the craft

Manage

The trust layer. Planning, coordination, supervision and cost control across the whole project, so there is one programme, one price and one person answerable for both.

  • Fixed, itemised proposals before work starts
  • Weekly written and photographed reports
  • Changes priced in writing, never after the fact

Materials we return to

A palette, not a catalogue.

Most of what we make comes from six materials, chosen because they age well in Abuja's heat and dust and can be repaired by hand years later. Our brand colours are borrowed from them.

  • Iroko — structural hardwood

  • Laterite — render & pigment

  • Brass — fittings & trims

  • Terrazzo — cast in situ

  • Screed — polished floors

  • Limewash — breathable walls

How we work

Five stages. One team from first to last.

You brief one studio. The same people who draw the details run the site and stand behind the finish. Every stage has a named deliverable and a fixed price before the next begins.
